It contains nice scattered villages, and it is the place where I fell in love with Pakistan the first time I visited in 2019. They leave early afternoon from\u00a0<strong>Sost bazar<\/strong>, between 1-3pm, depending on what time they fill up. It takes around 4 hours to reach the last village of the valley,\u00a0<strong>Zoodkhun<\/strong>. On the way back, the van leaves early in the morning (5-6 am).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0f2a3d5 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"0f2a3d5\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-45a7dab elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"45a7dab\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where to stay<\/h2>\n<p><!-- \/wp:heading --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>There are a few guesthouses you can stay in\u00a0<strong>Zoodkhun<\/strong>, I recommend\u00a0<strong>Roof of the World guesthouse<\/strong>, where I stayed. It\u2019s basically a homestay, you get to stay in the same building as a local family.<br \/>There\u2019s also\u00a0<strong>Pamir Serai<\/strong>, which looked nice too. I don\u2019t know of guesthouses in the other villages.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3bad7c4 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"3bad7c4\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8a9b5a2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8a9b5a2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What to eat<\/h2>\n<p><!-- \/wp:heading --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>The people of Chipursan valley eat a very healthy diet, typically fresh food from their own gardens, i.e: potatoes, many types of vegetables, leafy greens. They make roti (flatbread) to accompany most meals, and frequently make rice. The drink of choice is a milky tea with salt, similarly to other parts of Hunza. Each family has one or more cows that provide milk. Prepare for cold nights even in the summer!<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:heading -->\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The shrine of Baba Ghundi<\/h2>\n<!-- \/wp:heading --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Perched among the majestic mountains lies the top tourist attraction in the valley: the Shrine of Baba Ghundi. This sacred site, 17 kilometres from the last village of the valley, draws pilgrims and tourists alike seeking solace, blessings, and a glimpse into the region\u2019s rich history.<br \/>Legend has it that Baba Ghundi, a mystic and healer, traversed these mountains centuries ago, spreading wisdom and compassion along with Islam among the local communities.<br \/>His shrine has since become a symbol of spiritual unity and a beacon of hope for those in need.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Once you get there, you will need to show your passport to the soldiers who man the checkpost. They will keep your documents for the time of your visit. Up above Kirmin, you will be able to see how people used to make their own flour. Ask any local for directions.<\/p>\n<p>Watch a game of shooting volleyball. The game has been banned in some countries, as they play it with a stone-like ball.
